How do you fix a glued side view mirror?
Remove the old car mirror. Use a heat gun to soften the old adhesive, then gently remove the glass with a flat-headed screwdriver.
Clean and dry the plastic backing.
Apply the car mirror glue to the back of the mirror, about half an inch from the edge.
Keep the mirror in place while curing.
How many wing mirrors do you need?
According to the Construction and Use Regulations Act vehicles must have at least two mirrors. If the interior rear-view mirror is damaged, obscured or missing, both of the wing mirrors must be intact. via
